The beach is about 700 metres long and up to 20 metres wide, and is known above all for the large pine trees that reach the shore and provide natural shade on a large part of the beach. It is perfect for those looking for a place to stroll or take a dip in the calm, warm waters.

On the island of Alcanada is the Alcanada lighthouse, which dates back to 1861. At low tide it is possible to walk across the strait and reach the island on foot. A real spectacle worth seeing and photographing.
